The Macomb Feminist Network meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month, with a few exceptions from 10am-12pm at the Macomb City Hall Community Room.

Here are the suggested topics for 2010-2011:

October 9: Freedom of Information Act (Elaine Hopkins), or Women in Post-Conflict Countries (Martha Hesla), or pre-election panel/discussion

November 13: Human Trafficking (Diane Mayfield)

December 11: Women in Medicine (Dr. Erica Rotondo)

January 22: Annual Winter Social - at Becky’s home to invite potential members and start out the new year.

Februrary 19: Patient Advocacy

March 5: Writing Women Back into History, annual luncheon (we need volunteers to select honorees and make luncheon arrangements)

April 9: invite James Hoyle, State's Attorney, to discuss prosecution of abusers and prevention of violence against women. note: April is Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Prevention month

May 7: undecided date and program
